I'm going to L.A in a few days. Are any of you wonderful folks living there? I'll be staying near the Los Angeles convention center and I want to hit up a comic book store with a good selection of back issues. If you're familiar with the area are there any you can recommend?

I've never been able to get into Gotham. For me the Batman story doesn't start until the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne in Crime Alley.

Yeah, that's strikingly accurate. Batman is totally some kind of deluded arsehole. But I still love (most) of the comics, movies and video games featuring him.

In other news; I've just started reading that Magneto solo book by Bunn. Picked up the first 6 issues at my LCS this arvo. Damn it's good. I'm only two issues in but I'm really enjoying it.
