OMG Married with Children is one of the best shows EVER! i was just watching it for the second time on hulu while i was drawing the other day. I couldn't with kelly though because between Winnie, Topanga, and Laura Winslow i became obsessed with smart women. lol.

edit: I use to always wonder though, how the hell al got a house so big on a shoe man's salary, especially how had they made it sound. I use to get my shoes fitted at a place in branford because i'm flat footed and i remember i was super nice to the guy because married with children had me convinced shoe men work for nothing. lol

Happy Friday!! How's everyone doing?

Happy friday! It was a great day. Got a lot of stuff done, watched the new episodes of Titans and Doom patrol. Those two shows are on absolute FIRE right now. The starfire twist i wasn't expecting and i swear Doom Patrol amazes me because they are their own worst enemies and usually i would hate a show like that but i am obsessed with every last character. I feel like i'm babysitting them when i'm watching the show. lol.

LOL crosed thoughts. Kelly kowbaski, i need to get some sleep. Saved by the bell but i got her mixed up with kelly bundy. lol. Kelly was hot in the college years but lisa was that chick on the original. lol. Zack was the first time i started to notice dudes though. lmao. let me get some sleep i think i'm operating on like 10 hours of sleep in the last two weeks.

Edit: though weirdly enough i wasnt attracted to zack as a dude but zack's personality, but in that way

I'm about an hour in this dune movie and it is surprisingly boring. Between the music of the woman over breathing and the "duuuu duuuuu duuu" i think i'm getting anxiety waiting for exciting scenes that aren't happening.

It wasn't a bad movie. I was thinking "set up set up" and "this must be a trilogy" the whole time but that was the problem. The movie itself didn't contain enough action imo and kind of dragged while the soundtrack was full of excitement and kind of let to false moments of what i thought was going to be a payoff scene or some big moment only for it to keep falling flat. The mother/son relationship was a little creepy to me to. Not sure why but it just played weird.

So as i was finishing up one of my projects (yay). I was going to put it on patreon and then i like froze and i find i get the same sort of feeling i get from substack now that i let it settle. For me i can see it affecting the creative process cause what i find is while the platform makes sense things like the tiers and the idea that paying more get's subscribers something more sort of doesn't sit well with me. I feel like everyone should get the same thing for the same thing so it feels like less of an obligation maybe. I can't shake the idea that when someone subscribes to something they may feel owed a particular amount of something but mainly i feel i should give them a particular amount of something so in that sense the "Traditional" releasing of things seems to sit better with me or i guess ad based in a sense. I like the idea more of releasing something to people than for people i guess and then they can consume or not. Random early early morning thoughts.

Agreed. Cinematrography in Villenueve is always impeccable, but without much going on (both on the surface or beneath it) 2/3 of the movie was ambient wallpaper with some fight scenes. And also it feels like they're stretching this movie out as long as they can for $$$.

That is a given with Hollywood today. The Hobbit did not need to be 3 movies and I think that it was much worse than it should have been due to that imo. Dune on the other hand has enough material to warrant multiple movies, and honestly I did enjoy the first one so that's all that matters I suppose.
