If I may... X-Treme X-Men is getting a direct sequel next month so it could be fun re-reading the original run in anticipation of the new mini? The other 2 HC are both really good reads too though!

Yeah all 3 are good but I am leaning towards X-Treme for the reason you mentioned.

Throwback to this absolute icon's Halloween costume last year. I know what you're thinking, "He's beautiful, he's amazing, his costume is perfection on him, and I love him. I'm all about everything this dog is and more, he saved my life and I want a dog like this." Unfortunately (for you), he is my dog. I am the owner of the concept of adorableness, given physical form.

We couldn't find a costume for him this year, since it's hard to find costumes in his size. So my sister bought him a little Frankenstein vest to keep him warm and festive during walks.

LOL i was watching GH and watching finola hughes i just had the most random idea for a charmed reboot. You have Patty and Victor (lol) never get divorced. Patty does not die young and instead continues to secretly do her duties knowing her daughters are the charmed ones. Something happens to patty and instead of 20 something women discovering they are witches the ages they would be now are discovering it and have families of their own. Prue, Piper and Phoebe. lmao. Random wine daydreams.

I am watching the bastard son and the devil himself and i keep coming back to the feeling like this whole show is exactly what it feels like people do to the black male and we are suppose to be okay with it or reserved or find a way to make what you did better for you and i can't figure out if it's intentional or just like a accident that transcends it's script.

Sarah sounds ridiculous on the view. If racism is racism is racism then why aren't all reactions the same. Why aren't the tv heads that went after colin kapernick not cancelled for him exercising his right to freedom but we are suppose to feel something because her husband doesn't want and has a choice to choose her children not to appear to be jewish when no one else can just hide who they are suppose to be an there is no choice. That's the real problem it's not that it's not wrong it's that why does one get people cancelled so quickly and so diligently and the other the guide post is always moving. it's simple intellectual integrity imo.

I got to give kerry washington her props, reasonable doubt is a damn good show. It was really amazing t see a scene in which a white person "all skin folk ain't kin folk" didn't get the lingo because there were more people of color in the meeting. It was really something so small that most will prob overlook but having seen a lot of board room scenes and the black characters come off looking like the loyal help *succession i'm looking at you.* it was a nice little just "oh, this is unusual moment" and my face prob looked like the dude in the room. lol

I don't think i will ever watch wakanda forever. In my fevered haze i'm watching dish nation and i find i have completely closed off to it, the interviews, lupita i find i just go cold to it and only think "how can you honor someone for something they didn't want people to know" and just feel no sense of want of playing any part in it's success. so fevered realism. lol

Oh and i was right about the elections. hahah *that was a little petty but i needed it.* Analyst... lmao

This is going to be one of the most shallow things i will ever say but despite the show just being good Titan's is DOING that thing with casting and framing a$$ this season. I mean some of these shots i'm like "is this Photoshop."

Solid movie, I really thought they did the best they could given the circumstance with Chadwick. Namor was great, really good casting choice for him. Let's get a Dora Milaje (sp?) Disney+ show going ASAP please. Okoye is awesome.

Oh hell yes. When they appeared in Falcon & the Winter Soldier and just whupped ass and USAgent was all weepy, "They weren't even super-soldiers!" I was stoked.

I loved what we saw of Okoye in the first Black Panther, in Busan, both at the casino and on the street, and would love to see more of her in action!

So, I watched X-Men (the OG movie that came out in 2000) last night, hadn't seen it in a good while. It's not a terrible film, I enjoyed it quite a lot. Some of that enjoyment might be a result of nostalgia, sure, but it was enjoyment nonetheless. It's certainly of it's time, has serious vibes of "Have you guys seen that move The Matrix? It's really in right now", with all that black leather, but it has a special place in my heart, being the first one we ever got.
