The characterizations suck, too. Storm is awful and Gambit and Rogue are bland and depthless. Wolverine crying and hugging himself? What? Jubilee is as annoying as ever and Jean and Scott are just... there. What even IS this book. Originally Posted by DDD

They're all terrible. DoFP is like this thing on auto pilot.
It's fun having Storm shout how indomitable she is, but it feels like he could have polished those very brief moments more. It seems like he put all he had on Assandra Nova.

Halfway through UXM by Claremont. Just finished the M-kraan Crystal and I gotta say, Jean really shoulda gotten a solo after that or had plans made for her to outgrow the X-men and do other things. After that kinda power display, wow.
The series is pretty good and kinda funny that during the first 2 MMW of Claremont, there's been more about fights and intergalactics than dealing with racism and such. Not a bad thing but just something I noticed.Le Suck it, Dolphin!
