He doesn't look like a bad character, but why not pick someone people actually liked, considering his game is barely functioning. Mach Rider for example.

I'm hoping this roster is to prevent spoilers, and that the Wii u version will release an update with much more characters for both versions. Why else would we be three months from "holiday 2014" without a release date?

Also, that Hamaya this morning. What a madman. The whole internet was raging at him and M2K is like "could you try this out for me?"

Duck Hunt is one of the games that sold the NES. It's an absolute classic, even among the classics. Plus, it's suffering from hardware failure bad. Pretty soon Duck Hunt is just going to be a memory. A memory...of that @#$%ing dog laughing! Oh yeah, he has to be in Smash.

Well, that game was a pretty huge game for it's time, and he's one of the retro characters repping the old-school/obscure titles, you technically say the same about the Ice Climbers or ROB or Game & Watch or Pit in brawl (Before Uprising) every game has one of that, plus he looks like major fun so \O/

The more weird, WTF, "never see them coming" additions are part of the fun of SSB, and I'm always excited to play characters like that.
