At this point in time, I don't think we'll ever see one of the characters from the first game being cut from this franchise.

Thanks for clearing that up. I guess if past rosters are any indication there may possibly be over 40 characters in this one? At least Im hoping it continues to grow.. The addition of Mega man and Little Mac were great choices.

People get nervous when their favorites aren't announced. Some people thought that Yoshi had been cut because they took so long to announce him. But as we saw, Yoshi was not cut.

Sakurai hates cutting characters. And while he's said that not every character will be in the new game, we saw the return of characters people really thought would be cut such as Toon Link and Ike.

And yes, I've been greatly impressed with the character selection process of this game.

I enjoyed most of them. However, if Palutena made it in, I hope Medusa gets the nod. You know, because all three central Kid Icarus characters would be in, and I'd sorta get a thrill out of Medusa beating up on the other two.

Luckily on the Isaac issue, the Best Buy demos are coming to a close and none of them have featured Isaac at all.

I sort of feel like Ganon is a given. Past that I figure everything else is up in the air…though I really want Chrom and, er, the OTHER “Marth” from Fire Emblem Awakening because they’re a heck of a lot more relevant than Ike or Roy.

I’m fine with that – she isn’t unique enough to justify being her own character – but reading “alternate costume” just makes me think of Pac-Man in drag. Have we actually seen “Ms. Pac-Man” in the same room with Pac-Man?
