Whatever your thoughts on Secret Wars and Hickman's Avengers, that's one great cover!!
I spy Ultimate Spider-Woman.
With so many Ultimate characters on this cover, starting to believe more and more the Final Incursion is between the 616 and the Ultimate U.
Seems like things are kicking off with an incursion between 616 & Ultimate.
I still love how Surfer is so chill while everyone else is freaking out.
"we're all some kind of noise. be the good kind". Ms. Marvel . Saga . ASM .
Is anyone other than 616 and Ultimate featured? Looks like the UU may play an even bigger part than I had hoped.
You know, I predicted a long time ago that the Time Runs Out incursion is against Ultimates...
Certainly teasing the idea that we will see a mixture of Ultimate /616 happening soon.
That is a great looking cover though.
Ha! Thing takes up the most real-estate.

Quite happy to see the Thing featured so much in the first cover of Secret Wars 1.
Looking quite forward to this.
Thing and Surfer's uber-presences on this actually cool cover are indeed rather pleasant to see. Just when I think Marvel is going above and beyond to further marginalize the FF (as I ever so slightly 'ranted' about earlier today), they pull rabbits out of their hat to make me wonder twice.

quick question. Did something like this happen in Jack Kirby's New Gods series? These paintings that Alex Ross has done reminds me of a piece he did with all of the New Gods characters, and it looked like people were being pulled in by an unknown force.
