So what's the basic premise of this story?

It's basically about folklore and small town politics in a rural Newfoundland setting. And it's supposed to be funny. If I ever take the story far enough you'll see the dust settle a bit and get a better idea of where things are going but I'm heading back to school in September (much needed art school) so who knows...
