Yeah I would say you can start on Superman #32 but just pretty know the story around what's happening like his job, allies and all that jazz. Lobdell's run covers what happens but a lot of people dislike it (I thought it was a great Superman run) but if you don't want to read it you can just get a summary.

I actually managed to find almost every single issue today (Including the #1) for 99 cents each, so naturally I grabbed them. I guess I'll actually go back!
