I wouldn't give them that much credit.

They just took advantage of an opportunity.

With no other network doing anything minority related they took a chance and got rewarded. And you mainly saw black women in the lead roles.

They also realize who is the number one SPENDER=so who would you go after? crybaby white boys or blacks who will at least look at your stuff?

Don't think Marvel is not seeing the success of Supergirl and not looking at Ms Marvel or America Chavez or Misty?

This is what I meant buy skepticism. I was pointing to this idea that they don't really stop anything they are doing because of complaints. It's just nice to see when it's on the other side for a change.

Been trying (futilely) to get caught up on some comics: recently read Sam Wilson: Captain America 1 & 2...had no idea Daniel Acuna would be drawing this so that was a pleasant surprise as I'm a big fan of his art. My one gripe is Misty's silly "boob window and exposed belly" outfit. It's the same issue I had with most of Falcon's old outfits with the exposed chest or sides. It's one thing for Luke Cage or Power Girl to go around that way but for normal "bullets will kill me" type heroes I just find it silly.

Also watched the first few episodes of Minority Report. Didn't find it to be anything special (other than the opportunity to drool over Meagan, heh) but this comment from another forum I found funny/strange



Apparently you have to have a flat butt to be athletic...

I think it could benefit if it were in it's own continuity where be more outrageous and over the top, but it's definitely an intriguing read.

I dunno, I think it works very well how over the top it is while fitting with the DCU continuity. His team up with Dick Grayson was a lot of fun. And this recent issue's connection with the DCU was icing.

Great list..Cole Horibe is best choice imo of any potential castings I've seen... Steve Yeun would be very interesting.. but long as Iron Fist is Asian I will watch other wise I have no interest...
