I loved him under Remender and Bunn in Agent Venom and Secret Avengers.

But he sucked in GoG and then this space night business...

Yeah, Flash had no business being in Guardians, no more than Iron Man did.

    - Nighthawk only hit mid 30K on issue #1
    - Squadron Supreme is now below 20K and Hyperions book is 100% dead. the Whole SS concept was a huge swing and a miss.
    - Venom: Space Knight is well below 20K and toast (horrible concept for the character, I counted disabled as minority btw)

it dropped from 31K to 27K... same week the other Cap book came out.

The Squadron Supreme experiment was indeed a big miss with it's uneven storyline and sub par artwork.

Same goes for the Nighthawk and Hyperion books both hampered by incredibly bad artwork.

    A pity.

I mainly bought Nighthawk for the art but I know like Frank Quietly himself that style of art isn't for everybody and not everyone gets to go to a con and listen to both Walker and Villalobos break down they whys of what they want to do with this comic

Marvel needs to get ahold of those inoffensive workhorse guys like Ron Lim, Sean Chen and Mark Bagley.

They are older now and you aren't getting two books a month out of any of those guys now.

Some of these Marvel Now! books weren't bad they just have/had quirky artwork on them.

Someone posted this on my facebook. And I think we all need a moment of laughter. I really loved this clip and the walk , throwing down the belt type deal was perfect Stone Cold. My only knock is the guy comically selling the stunner in this.

This also shows you how much Jim Ross is missed announcing WWE shows.

I liked the art in Nighthawk. But I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I have no problem with Walkers writing.

I just can't stand the art.

SOOOOOO we get all these tread about Marvel & Dc using minorities in comics and how it is offensive.

So where is the outrage about IDW's MaSK series?

Matt Tracker is a black man. It looks like his BBF is a female-I think Latino. Based on the images we got it's 3 POC and 1 white guy as the main heroes. Sort of like the original series except no female heroine.

Or does what IDW do don't matter to that crowd?

Sadly IDW gets ignored and its probably the best company in comics right now

Truth. A lot of people thumb their noses at licenced I.P. comics, I know I used too before I started reading a lot of IDW'S books. Even though I read Archie's Sonic and Mega Man.

IDW does licensed comics right. Their TMNT comics are amazing and I love their unique take on the turtles origin
