Lol its funny think about this, Kishi had Killer Bee destroy Sasuke in a fight. Basically he killed Sasuke Twice in one Fight. When is the last time a Black Character in a comic you read from the Big 2 has absolutely destroyed one of the most popular white characters.

As for the question on Moe, its a certain type of female character archtype usually a cute short shy character.

I am not reading much manga right now I could never get into One Piece, I read Shokugeki no Soma (Basically Food Porn) and Attack on Titan as my two main manga these days and I guess Bleach but that is purely to finish the series not because I enjoy it and Fairy Tail because one of my friends loves it even though I hate the Nakama Power Ups.

I think Sasuke's own waning popularity when that fight happened actually helped Bee. I've spoken to a couple of people who said they instantly liked the guy because he put such a beatdown on Sasuke.

Fairy Tail holds the title as the first and only manga series I've dropped because it just got too stupid.

I dont think his popularity was waning that much he was still top 3 but every character eventually generates a backlash and American Fansites certainly had a vocal base of Sasuke Haters. Sakura incidentally also has a massive hate base.

IN other words Bendis did to Cage what Johns did to Cyborg.

Gave him a ton of attention and appearance but made him background fodder. Playing on the idea folks would be HAPPY to see a POC get a "push" while ignoring how much damage is really being done.

The same behavior by certain DC fans when they see Johns & Lee's names linked to Milestone.

And Cage under Bendis suffered from Miles, Cyborg and Storm currently suffer from that Ms Marvel, Static, Jaime Reyes & Static got. A private live that you actually got to read and see about.

You know who Ms Marvel, Jaime & Static's friends and nemesis are.

You know what they like to do. You know who their families are. You knew what school they went to.

And now the new issue we are seeing at the big two is black (and some POC) guys needing their hands held by white ones or be sent to limbo.

Cyborg & Vibe had origins free of Justice League now they don't.
John Stewart can't be alone-he has to drag the GLC with him.
Batwing of Africa is now gone but US Batwing is retired and screwing a red head. Yet he needs Batman to guide him.
Jason Rusch is now gone.
Jaime Reyes is gone.
Vixen is gone.
Static is gone.
Steel gets mentioned but is MIA.
Black Lighting is gone.
Whatever he is in Doom is on the way out.
Duke Thomas is heading towards doom with Alfred.

I never thought of this before but yeah, it is kind of unfortunate that Vic is now so tethered to the Justice League by his origin. Funny how people claim it makes him more independent.

I am liking Walker's take though.

Eh, Stakes was never a really big deal for me. I care more about the character development, character interaction, and the primary focus on characters that manga specializes in. The stakes thing fits more for comics where they primary focus is on the drastic consequences that will come if a mission isn't completed. When I watch/read Naruto, I cared about why he has such major problem growing up, not if he was going to get killed or not lol.

eh i dont know if ur fighting a war i expect some casualties. Obviously no Character D is galling besides u know villains randomly flipping to the good side.
