I'm glad you said that. I feel that this thread has a lot of worth for fans who have family members, partners, or girl/boyfriends who just don't get comics. As I've said in the Russ Heath thread, I've lost girlfriends because they just didn't get it. One, of course, was the lady who had a Lichtenstein print on her wall that I explained was a panel from a comic, and another who threw a copy of "The Invisibles" down because she couldn't understand it (which she could, but didn't want to take the time to). I'm all in favor of finding intelligent gateways to comics.
