I made a point while reading that dialogue from Maxima to note that she was pretty specific in saying that she's not attracted to any of the men of her homeworld. This does not mean she won't swoon upon meeting Superman. It just means that her affinity toward Kara, who is neither her species nor the gender her society was pointing her in the direction of, and realizations of some attraction to Kara, opened her eyes to the fact that she doesn't have to settle for some barbarian cretin from her homeworld (who I recall from the Animated Series are kind of totally douches).

Maybe Maxie will find a man worthy of her, maybe a woman, but it ain't gonna be one of the rubes her royal family try to stick her with. Rock the #### on.

Actually WW is probably the one female superhero who's the sure bet to never be altered in terms of sexuality. DC will never go there. That's not saying they should, that's not saying they shouldn't, they just won't.

Just to reiterate, I think given the classic depiction of Maxima's personality type, "swinging all ways" is probably most appropriate. I think she should be an omnisexual. The Warrior Queen of Almerac welcomes all candidates. Let the games begin!
