Default Most important/best story lines of all time in DC?

Is there a website that is dedicated to collecting the most popular story lines from Golden Age forward? The closest I've found is this list from a few years back. http://io9.com/5477274/the-75-books-...th-anniversary I'd like to read a lot of these older stories as they become available on Comixology but I don't have the time or money to read every single comic DC has ever created.

Sorry to clarify, I'm really interested in reading a lot of the comics but not necessarily all of them so I'm looking for a site that tells you important runs. For instance, someone might say (and I'm just making these numbers up) to read Detective Comics #37-38, 62-67, Flash Comics #1-5, 13-15, etc. Basically I'm looking for the most famous storylines that are still referenced today, the classic stories, from the Golden Age on up, especially for the main JL and JSA. I understand that a lot of this is subjective, but I figured that there might be a site somewhere that collected this type of information.

To my knowledge, there is no site like that. But a lot of us kknowa lot about the Dc so we could tell the classic stories and such. Here's a small list, others can make it bigger if they wish to.

    Batman and Superman stories:
    Superman Birthright
Superman Whatever happened to man of tomorrow?
    All Star Superman
    Man of Steel by Byrne
    Batman Year One
    Dark knight returns
Batman Long Halloween and Dark victory
    Batman by Morrison
    Batman by O'Neill

    Elseworld/non dc universe stories:
    Watchmen
    Kingdom Come
    The Golden Age
    Sandman
    Swamp Thing
And a lot of other pre-Vertigo runs

    Other in universe classics:
    New Teen titans Judas contract
    Great Darkness saga
JLA rock of ages (and the rest of the run)
    Crisis of Infinite Earths

    I'm sure i'm forgetting some

I think he means specific important runs from the Gold and Silver Ages. I would be interested in that kind of thing myself.

Well many stories was told in one issue back in day it wasn't until the late 60s/early 70s it got more normal to tell stories over several issues.

There are many dc collections of greatest stories. I remember reading the greatest golden age stories, greatest 1950's stories, etc.
