I've noticed a worrying trend on amazon UK.

A few weeks ago I ordered a decently priced Secret War OHC which has never arrived
My mate ordered a Death of Captain America Omnibus for £45 which never arrived.
This morning Inferno went up at £70.

The names of the sellers for all 3:

"JoshAwake", "DanCustard", "ShineWood"

^pretty formulaic.

Smells like bull...

i think someone else on here got a Death of Cap for £45 off amazon, did seem very cheap at the time

this shinewood account has over 8000 ratings though so it's not like it was newly created.

Strange, those X-men Inferno OHCs are up on amazon.co.uk marketplace from ShineWood again. They seem to have 3 copies.

There is something evil going on. They don't ship to Switzerland. Inferno Omnibus from hell...as I said

And they actually did answer my swiss shipping request quite fast and very politely. So I would go for it (if in the UK)

Yeah, they came by DHL a week late. Some friends all got theirs much sooner. Seems they just got swamped by an influx of orders when they updated.

I had a problem order with them, but they checked it out for me and found that Fedex had lost the package. So they said they'd refill the order for me, they didn't have one comic so they refunded the cost of that and then sent it first class as a kind of apology for the inconvenience.

So I wouldn't really doubt them, they provide good service and if you order a bulky enough order like 5+ then it comes by Fedex which is tracked and usually quite quick.

Other than their emails sometimes being weird with reply speeds, they're one of the best comic places around. Especially when you consider how crazy low some of their prices are.

It's not a massive worry, amazon protects you. Worst case scenario you get your money back after the delivery period expires.

The "Peanuts Artist's Edition" is down to £30 on Amazon.co.uk. That's less than a third of the price these books usually go for.

I managed to pick up two out of my four white whales on Amazon last week. Wolverine by Frank Miller for £106 and The Daredevil Conpanion (the variant cover) for £120. A bit worried about that wolverine book as I know another poster bought this book from the same seller at the same price, but hopefully it all works out. The Daredevil companion came on Saturday and looks beautifull! Just need to track down volume 1 of Bendis and Brubakers run then I can give my poor bank account a rest for a while!
