Yeah, I believe so, no image thou...and it's HC, I have tpb only.

Have you ever seen Tempelsmith's art? Do some research now and decide do you like it or not. I have his Silent Hill comics somewhere in Poland, bought Dead Space recently and it's ugly. In best way possible. Gory, bloody, dark, just awesome.

BTW Does somebody have his Hellspawn HC? I've been thinking about this book for years just don't know was it worth to buy - I like Spawn but story is terrible.

    EDIT:

There's this collection of 3 HC's in slipcase but quite pricey.

Or Prestige edition. Don't know what that means, oversized propably.

I just did a google search on his art, and LOVE IT.
But, oh man, I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep again.
Man, if they did an original Exorcist book and he did the art for it, my horrors would be complete. He'd kill my sleep forever.

    Yes. Who needs sleep, right?

You can have pics as soon as I get it.
I'll be placing the order later. Thanks for the links!

I meant that the book will scare the piss out of me, but I am sick and like scaring myself, so I'm going to get this because sleep is overrated anyway, right? :P

I've never had this problem, I'm easy-to-scare person but I like to be scared. Love some older and more classic stuff thou - Exorcist was a great story, book and movie both - where monster creeps in shadows things are barely shown and only suggested, Cronenberg's work or Blair Witch Project - it was scary as hell, at least for me - but not a big fan of this modern trend, torture porn etc.

I like horror but I too am not a fan of torture porn. Love me some good old fashioned horror where it's the suspension and great story that the book/movie good and not where all you get is people ripping off limbs and cutting people in half with chainsaws. I don't even take the time to look at movies like Saw (that, and I'm easily frightend haha).

You know, first Saw movie I've seen was Saw 3, I think so, don't remember, and it was a garbage, but then I seen first one years after that and it was good movie. With believeable characters, good plot and some revelation at the end. So there are exceptions just not too many.

Oh, I get scared by stuff that, you know, I shouldn't be scared of because I am a grown woman. I'm not scared of stuff, you know, that really exists like rapists, possibly being tortured to death, or just the true monsters of the world.
No, I'm scared of the monster under my bed, the vampires who I think are going to jump through my kitchen window, the demon possessed girl upstairs.
    The stuff that doesn't exist.
    Go figure.

Also: I just ordered that 30 Days of Night HC and MMW Daredevil second edition vol. 1.

ForbiddenPanet has pre-orders for Usagi vol 2 and 3 for 40 quid. Few pounds cheaper than Amazon.

Would anyone happen to know how long the Image sale at IST is supposed to last? Or is it a "your guess is as good as ours" situation?

I went ahead and emailed them in regard to the Image sale and how they run their sales in general. Their response is below:

"Thank you for your e-mail. Most of our sales are run at our discretion and we usually end them once we hit sales goals or once inventory for the related items gets to the right level. Some sales are popular over the long run but it takes a while to get where we want to be—IDW Artist Edition sales for instance. Those sales will last a lot longer or may get re-worked with alternate groups of items.

We may work with publishers on some sales and that affects the length of our sale.

The current Image sale is doing very well and we are almost at our sales goal. However, there is enough inventory on select books to keep the sale going even after the sales goal is reached. It’s hard to be more specific than that but we would expect the current sale to last a few more weeks. However, if a particular item sells down too far, we may lower the discount on that item and still keep it in the sale so it’s better to get your order in early."

That's cool that you emailed them. Thanks.

That's also pretty valuable information. I suspected that's how they ran their sales but the confirmation is always nice.

I'm just trying to strategically time one order for the extra 2% discount on a second order of a new release coming up that I'm hoping will be 50% off release week, so their answer about an end date is only mildly helpful.

The Revolutionary War TPB is at £4.31 from _plumcircle_books_usa_ on the amazon.co.uk marketplace. That's a 77% discount as the RRP is £18.99. It's going for $6.09 on the amazon.com marketplace from the same seller.

I've purchased 2 TPBs from _plumcircle_books_usa previously and I'm very pleased with their service.
