The deals in this thread are only here because people post them.

If you can't see many deals for your respective country, it's because people from that area aren't posting them.

I'm surprised there haven't been more US deals considering the size of that country and their book/comic seller businesses online.

IST would be a dream in the EU, 50% off and free shipping plus 2% off consecutive orders. We'd kill for a site like that, but we have to settle for hunting down stuff by ourselves.

Yup, most deals are from Cheap-Comics or Marktplaats. I was so damn close to getting New Mutants #85-100 (including #87 and #98) for €25 it's madness. Some Marktplaats guys just don't know what they have.

That's right! And we've all been told we aren't supposed to post deals outside of this thread (we used to always post them in the Marvel thread), yet I could wade through literally dozens of pages of this thread and not find a "good deal" pertinent to American buyers, so this thread has become useless to me and my fellow Americans.

Well, most of the discounts and sales in the US are seasonal. Starting September, I am sure there will be more US stuff to put in. I mean, IST gives a standard 42% off most DC/marvel stuff. What more can we expect through the rest of the year?

Apparently it's some weird eBay thing. They set up an offer like this, but it's only for like, the first 100 people to use it. Then it expires early, regardless of the midnight thing.

I would ahve bought three omnibuses today. Instead I am buying nothing. I assume eBay think people will just think 'ah well' and complete the order. Not me.

As Storm wrote, keep emailing them. They finally replied to my emails after a week or two after I politely wrote that I was very disappointed at not receiving any response from them. They were very apologetic and my order was fulfilled.
