yeah, I ended up preordering some books I know I'm gonna buy as soon as they come out. Saved liked around £5 compared to speedyhen. Not a crazy good deal but £5 is still something.

My preorders where Sandman overture and Multiversity deluxe, Quest for the timebird hc. All 3 for £47something.

I used the amazon code on the Golden Age Batman Omnibus and the Amazing Spider-Man by Slott Vol. 1 OHC.

I also preordered the GL Vol. 3 Omnibus earlier when it was £35.

There's a comic book shop that's closing its doors in my city (it's a shame, but a) it's on the same street and a five-minute walk from another comic book store, b) the manager could sometimes be a jerk, and c) they have another location in another city that I try to get to periodically anyway). They had the best prices (US cover price for graphic novels; for a while they did like 20% below US cover price, but couldn't sustain it), but often when I've spoken directly to the manager he was rude.

Anyway, they had a liquidation sale. Collections at 50% off US cover, and back-issues at $2 each (or less, unless it was a variant or collectible).

I bought:

-10 issues, including Pryde and Wisdom 1-2, X-Men: Blind Science, and a smattering of Generation Hope
-Wolverine by Jason Aaron, Volume 3
-X-Men: The Hidden Years, Volume 2
-Ms. Marvel Volume 5: Secret Invasion

JSA Omnibus Vol. 2 is now down to $71.74 and JSA Omnibus Vol. 3 is $59.78 on amazon.com

Both are reduced by 52%.

It looks like the "low" prices have had some effect on Vol. 2 as this now "Usually ships within 1 to 3 weeks."

52% discount seems to becoming quite popular on amazon.com on certain trades.
