Probably an error. When the batman 66 green hornet crossover hc was on preorder, it was also announced as a paperback and I still got the HC for the reduced price...

Yes, you're right. I've just seen the new DC solicitations. This should be a $75 HC.

This is listed on amazon.co.uk as Supergirl: The Silver Age Vol. 1 (paperback), the same cover as the amazon.com listing.

The pre order price was £13.20 for a few days, then went up to a more realistic £49.99 yesterday.

So it looks like this definitely IS the omnibus.

Here's hoping they honour the glitch price!

It's still at $17.99 on amazon.com.

My gf is looking to buy the 50 off volumes of Fairy Tail and wanted to know the best place to get them? She doesn't mind if they are second hand it is just that she doesn't want to pay too much for them.

Also where do you get the vouchers for alibris or Ratukan points from as they may help bring the price down.

I donno about fairy tale but usually they do these 3 in 1 omnibus editions which come out cheaper than the individual volumes (if you can't find those for 0.01 + shipping on amazon)

I wish Fairy Tail was being released in 3-in-1 omnibus editions, I've been waiting with bated breath for it, but unfortunately they've not.

Instead they've recently released what they called a Masters Edition, which is a much larger in dimensions sized books compiling five of the individual volumes into one book for a cheaper price (like the Collosal Attack on Titan editions). Ordinarily I'd find this to have been fantastic, however the paper quality in my opinion is awful; it's extremely, extremely thin and the art bleeds through from one side to the other. It's sub par in my opinion, but you and your girlfriend might think otherwise.

She isn't a fan of the larger editions, she finds US sized comics too big!

weird, I find deluxe editions somewhat small (maybe I've read too much absolute sized or even bigger books).

went from a Prince Valiant or similar sized book to a deluxe and had to check if it's really oversized

I personally prefer the larger format, but for her portability is important.
