At the risk of going off topic, I had to wait 6 hours in the emergency room for my 4 year old son with a fever over 105 degrees F. Seeing a specialist or getting a routine scan can take over a year. And good luck getting a family doctor these days. Canada's health care system isn't all it's cracked up to be. I grew up in the US and moved to Canada, I've seen both. The US's healthcare blows Canada's away in every conceivable fashion other than price, which, I realize, is a huge factor.
So it looks like most of the people posting on this thread are from the Marvel Collected Editions thread.... Just Sayin...
Does "Mycomicshop" usually organizes something for the BF week? I'm keeping an eye at their Home page, but there's nothing..
Do you read comics in TPBs, HCs, and omnibuses - or are just not sure where to start? Check out my definitive guides to DC (including Rebirth!), Valiant Comics, and Marvel - including every X-Men and Avengers team and each Marvel Event.
You'll find definitive reading guides including every issue of every major Marvel hero and team, like Black Panther, Captain America, Captain/Ms. Marvel, Daredevil, Deadpool, Spider-Man, & and more!
I can't remember them doing anything BF specific on their site. No idea about their physical store in Arlington, TX though.
Krisis, if you sign up for MCS' weekly newsletter they send out a weekly code word which gives you various discounts for that particular week. For example, this week's discounts include an additional 5-10% off all 1970s, Clasics Illustrated, Marvel M-Z, and Romance titles. The current code word is "AUTUMN" which expires today. Tonight/tomorrow morning they'll send out a new code word and so on.
They weren't even on my radar going in, but at that price... I almost didn't buy them when I saw volume 2 go OOS, but became available again. Still, nothing guaranteed until it ships. *crosses fingers*
Ya, I meant per account. I noticed I had the email as well and looked into it further.
"For each customer, this coupon can be redeemed only once at any Barnes & Noble retail store and only once per billing address online at BN.com."
For anyone interested here's link to the details.
I do have one question regarding egiftcards. If I place an order for B2G1 + coupon code can I use an egiftcard for the purchase? Also, what would be the drawback to using one if I had an issue with damaged books?
Fair enough. I got sucked into the generic hyperbolic argument many people use while comparing the two countries. Just wanted to say that. Don't want to go further off-topic.
