Gillen is leaving Iron man for a 'huge opportunity' with Marvel. Not sure if it would be bigger than Iron Man, but maybe something in X-world?
Hopefully Marvel will make Bendis give up one of his books?
I sure do appreciate Gillen's X-Men. I hope his "irresistible opportunity" at Marvel is an X-Book.

I would have loved to see more of the Extinction team but I couldn't really see to many things that could pose much of a problem for them.
I love the Extinction Team set-up, and there were a lot of neat ideas in Gillen's run, but overall I don't feel like he got to accomplish much. His run just feels like a stopgap between Schism and AvX. Which is a shame, because it had potential to be so much more.
If only for his awesome Mister Sinister. But it was more than this, I enjoyed Kieron's run. If he was still writing X-Men, I'd be reading.
archer * magician *soldier * spy
Got my hands on Gillen UXM 1 and it was awesome. Sinister is just so evil and creepy. This was also the comic that told me about Celestials and props to the ET on staring them down.
Can't wait to read the rest.
Im glad kg gets one more story with cyclops and agent brand its a spiritual. End cap to his X-Men story
Loved the entire UXM run. His team was fantastic and his characterisation of Sinister was superb. If he's coming back to X-Men, I will literally jump for joy. On a side note, I'd love to read some of his independent work, if anyone has suggestions. Cheers
Since Morrison and his new X-Men run I havent felt there was a game changer of a series until the extinction team.
I loved remenders uxf run but I felt uncanny avengers and axis ruined it
