Happy Birthday Chris Claremont! Always my favorite X-Men writer.
The happiest of birthdays to CC for creating some of my all-time favorite characters, especially Gambit.

I know I'm late, but I hope Mr. Claremont had a great birthday. With each passing year, his legacy and his impact on the history of X-men continues to grow. With a Dark Phoenix movie coming out next year, 2019 should be an especially meaningful year for him.

Despite the Dark Phoenix movie bombing at the box-office in 2019, it is still a meaningful year for Mr. Claremont..

Thank GOD for X'97. Cautious about "From the Ashes". Please no more Blue vs. Orange.
From X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)..
Exactly. Guess he felt two X-Movie cameos (another in DOFP with Len Wein) were enough for his lifetime.

Happy Birthday Chris. All the best to you and yours <3!
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
My absolutely favorite X-years are my memories of opening Uncanny and New Mutants while he was in charge.
Mine too, met him a couple of times too in the 80s (helps that we have a mutual friend). He’s always at his most interesting when you get him on to topics other than comics. His Mum delivered planes for the RAF in WWII, for example. And he once fought an imaginary duel, with imaginary swords, and real sound effects, for my imaginary honour, in the lounge of The Adelphi in Liverpool. He got shot with an imaginary gun by Peter Morwood (a la the end of Wizards). Fun times.
Happy Birthday from The Hellfire Club Mr. Claremont and we wish you many more
