Peter needs to end up as one of the Doctor's companions, at least for the length of the storyline, and be trying his hardest to keep his alter-ego a secret. The entire time, the Doctor keeps leading Peter into these dangerous situations, and Peter soon starts thinking that the Doctor knows and that's why he figures Peter can take care of himself. Then at the end the Doctor is like, "Spider-Who?"

Confidence. it's like a leader of the wolf pack. The wolves are looking for the strongest to lead them and once they see it, they all follow.

Well... Under doc ock's leader ship the sinister 6 beat the avengers...

So I guess that would be proof to how good/superior his leadership skills are.

The Spider-Verse was intended to be a Spock story event.

Like others have said, Otto is likely the only Spider-Man with any leadership experience (and he's VERY good at managing extreme personalities)…

…unless you count 616 Peter forming the Outlaws and they seemed better off with Silver Sable.

Okay. I admit. I laughed and think that'd be fantastic. xD
