Default The Francis Ellis Mysteries- film noir detective story- an animated moving panel book

The Francis Ellis Mysteries is an animated photo-novella in the form of a moving panel book for the tablet, mobile device, and computer; it can also be screened on DVD and in the big screen. This project is a hybrid of disciplines: photography, acting, film-making, voice work, and animation, in the form of a graphic novel. The story is edited in panels, the characters are animated, and accompanied by dialogue and sound effects. The style is dark and cinematic, very film noir, detective story.

The story is based on a cataclysmic explosion at Port Chicago in 1943 that becomes the obsession of survivor Francis Vincent Ellis when he is lured from seclusion in 1949 and thrust into a sprawling hybrid world of Meta-Humans, Physicists, Con-Men, G-Men, Mobsters, Spies, Clip Joints, Debutantes, Murderers, Blue Bloods, Be-Bop and Thieves, by a cuckold Giant, flaunting unimaginable wealth and evidence of the sinister origin of the Atomic Age.

The first episode is out and the campaign is up on Indiegogo.com to finish Book 1 entitled The Betraying Root. Check it out! The work is impressive and innovative.
