So, a few interesting developments for DBS 122:
spoilers:

Vegeta is beginning to grasp Ultra Instinct and performs a good showing against Jiren, but he's only acquired a rough basis of the technique itself, so he's not at the level of prowess that Goku's demonstrated. Furthermore, while Vegeta can perceive Jiren's movements now, his own offensive and defensive power haven't changed much(especially since he lacks the Omen transformation that Goku has), so Jiren casually no-sold his Final Flash and viciously crippled him with a single shot once he started getting serious. On the plus side, it looks like Vegeta is going to get that Full Power Super Saiyan Blue transformation from the manga to compensate.

it was a great show. slightly under last year's wrestle-kingdom but still a great event and worth staying up for.

jericho showed why he's the GOAT, kenny was being awesome, naito will get his time as champion again, cody keeps showing why the E missed the boat with him and okada is the greatest champion of our generation.

Yeah, people still haven't figured out that I purposefully set myself up for "failure" because A: I have a notable Son Goku complex, in that I want my enemies to be as powerful as possible so that ultimately defeating them will be all the sweeter in the long run. B: I am a firm practitioner of the Xanatos Gambit, because whatever "loss" you perceive from your viewpoint, I benefit exuberantly in ways that are indiscernible to all but myself. Being the colorless and prideless jester has its perks when it comes to lulling your opponents into a false sense of security.
