Sadly...It wasn’t exactly as great as expected. I had a word count limit as being in a tournament being part of a large narrative, with various OCs attending a barely subtle malicious version of Hogwarts. I am very good friends with my opponent as we share character info and ask questions so it made making the duel fun to write.

But while my friend wrote well within the limits....I went too far. Exceeded past my word count.

So had to shave a lot off. In the end, it was fun but very half assed.

I would go back to improve now that the tournament is done but...I feel like I'll screw it up like the Special Editions of Star Wars.

I have never liked wrestling, and was shocked to discover how many of the current nerd-culture commentators out there grew up with it as a major cornerstone of their childhood. Like, ****, wrestling seemed like the complete opposite of geek-interests. A bunch of sweaty macho guys trash talking between brief bouts of pretending to hit each other. If only someone had told me it was basically a superhero soap opera in live action, maybe I would have gotten into it at a formative age, too.

i was gonna post this as well, not just because i'm a wrestling fan but also because i love SEW.

and as someone who breathes this stuff....................wolf did a excellent job so showing why wrestling is fascinating, especially the last segment with the golden lovers. currently, it's one of the best storylines in wrestling, with cody's aggroances and attempts to lead a shattered bullet club, ibushi's renewed friendship with kenny, the young bucks not sure how to treat kenny, the OGs trying to keep the bullet club together, kenny being torn between his friendship with ibushi and that of the bucks and guys like marty just caught in the middle of this mess.
