Lovelover's quirk is pretty neat, but also situational. I've had a similar ability in mind for a character.

I've been loving this fight between Izuku and Gentle. There are real emotional stakes to keep things on the edge (but a breath of fresh air compared to the dark hell of the previous arc) and some awesome choreography with fun use of their abilities.

Absolutely. I was a bit worried that focusing on a school festival after the previous arc's dark rescue mission would feel like a step back. But Horikoshi has made it clear why this event matters to the characters and has me on hooks for the outcome here.

The fight has great ebb and flow with Gentle getting to show off how skilled he is with his silly quirk, and Izuku is really showing just how far he's come in terms of combat ability.
