It was basically pandering to feminists (in a pretty backhanded way), and treating the gods like shit because "all gods are terrible", despite disproving literally ALL of that in the first nine issues of the exact same Thor comic, written by the exact same Thor author.

They also "killed" Mjolnir by throwing it into the sun, something that it did perfectly fine ... in issues #8, and 9, of the same Thor run.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

even seeing it in more of a context, since i only got to read the last 7 issues of the run, it's still a good way jane to go out.

but yeah, i can see the stupidity of it.

From what little I've managed to read, FosThor's run feels like a DC comic.

Infinity War is so damn good! It's got all the show stopping scenes I never knew I wanted and so much fun interaction between the many many characters.

It'll be interesting to see what people make of the feats and stuff, especially some of Thor new ones.

Currently my one minor complaint is (minor spoiler here) spoilers:
that we never get to see Thanos fight without one of the infinity stones in his possession, though I guess one can argue that he only uses the stones' power when a partcular stone light up. So his physical feats are still possibly his own.
    end of spoilers

Well...Since it appears people on Quora who watched Infinity War are tactless in spoilers, I have to avoid the site for a while.

    Sorry to hear, man...

Vaguely related, I've been crazy busy at work all week, and will as such make an attempt to get to Anima(s) this afternoon or tomorrow.

God of War's (PS4) main boss is basically ancient norse Connor McGregor.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

decided to spend most of the day messing around with the SCP foundation.

i will admit, some of this stuff is pant-shittingly frightening.

    It's pretty interesting.

Some of the newer "series" are also decently written. If you want a kick though, the Joke SCP (SCP-J) are pretty good.
