"[Insert show here] just debuted it's own Deadpool."
Boy howdy, if there's a faster way to take a shotgun to my interest in a show, I don't know it yet.

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Ichigo: What even *are* you?!
Kenpachi: Some say my mother was a train. Some say that I'm a rejected Godzilla monster too strong for the series canon. But everyone says: I'M THE KEEEEENPACHIIIIII!!!!

I just discovered that Matt Mercer of Critical Role published a semi-official D&D sub-class that’s the ‘Totem of the Duck’ Barbarian a while back.
Why was I not informed, people?!
You know the rules.

The irony is that I’ve been planning on using a derivative of my character from Nick’s Rumbles RPG; who actually had a duck totem; in the D&D campaign I’m putting together.
That character was going to be a wizard though, rather than a barbarian. And the original was probably a rogue sub-class (probably somewhere between ‘Inquisitive’ and ‘Swashbuckler’).

What Cthulhu's stalker said.
There's an in-story reason for pretty much everything about the character, his personality disorder, his full body outfit, etc. While his antics are very Deadpool-ish and humerous at first glance, they become rather tragic when the origin of his trauma is revealed.
However...
Yeah, if you're not into shounen then My Hero Academia probably isn't for you.
It's good textbook shounen with some fun twists here and there. But at its heart its textbook shounen.
I'm not into anime in general, but there's an exception or two, even among the Shonens.
And actually "super powered high school" killed my interest in it first. :P
