he officially announced his retirement to everyone important to him. he even went to a specialist that kumi suggested and he said while he is healthy, if he kept going, he would be in a terrible condition. so he's pretty much done, unless he gets some expert treatment or something.

Makes sense, as I expect there are some loose ends that'll need to be resolved without people asking to go back to Ippo.

...Like personally, I like to see Kimura or Aoki get a comeback.
