Giving them any air time at all, does.

It's like the what's his face with the suicide video. Can talk about how crappy it is, but don't keep bringing the person up, it keeps them relevant well beyond the point where they should have stopped being.

If you want to bring him up that's fine. I just feel like spending effort on hating people that will never change is kinda ... a waste, I guess. Not trying to change how you do. Just, as noted, flailing about or whatever.

Now we all no I rather like RWBY and think it has a lot more good points, than it's detractors would have one believe. The White Fang and Faunus related stuff is not one of those good points.

The Faunus racism was one of the shows weakest elements, they really didn't do enough to show that aspect of the world, to the point were it seemed almost non existent and the WF just came across as a group of poorly conceived and completely unthreatening mooks for RWBY to take down. The only time they ever felt threatening was when Adam would turn up to spite edglordy nonsense.

This storyline would also make Blake more unlikeable with each passing volume, taking who was originally the most popular member of Team RWBY and causing her to more or less become the scrappy (although the worst of this aspect didn't start to sink in until Volume 4).

On top of being the most poorly written plot it took up huge amounts of screen time and dragged on forever. Which brings me to the worst aspect of the WF. It's massive screen time would often drag down other (often better), storylines around it and hurt the show as a whole. It's mass amount of screentime caused much of the planned plot of Volume 2 to be pushed back to Volume 3, it taking forever to finish forced every other plotline in Volume 5 to have to stop and wait for it to finish, leading into the messy and rushed final arc of said volume.

In my opinion there is nothing in RWBY that has had a more negative impact on the series than the White Fang.

It really was mishandled. At the end you're forced to realize Weiss was kinda totally right in Vol 1.

Adam cutting off Yang's arm in one shot will never not be amazing, though.
