So I’m sorry I’ve been off the radar all week (particularly if you’re waiting for me in Anima).

Not been the best week.

Over the last two days I’ve had to escort two members of my team (one of whom was a good friend and someone I’d kind of mentored) out of the building for the last time due to their being made redundant.

And this follows Tuesday when we were told that my Dad was now going into ‘secure’ care for 6 months and that we collectively as a family shouldn’t visit him more than twice a week between us (not really a problem at my end because I live 100 miles away or so) because it gets distressing for him.

Happy Father’s Day on Sunday.

So yeah. Bit wobbly. To say the least. I’ll catch up properly as soon as there’s some dust cleared.

My friend who had cancer died on Saturday, and now I find out my mom is in the hospital. She lives in Pennsylvania and I live in Alabama, so I can't even go see her.
