And....Yeah, my main thing about the design. Basically, the designers are given a Excelsior class model, told to make a completely new ship out of it, and...Decided that it'll be a great idea to completely put things on reverse (secondary hull and nacelles front, saucer back).

...And fans were calling it the Shelley class for a good reason before it got the official name.
