The thing is just that when he screws up, he screws up big time.

From what I have seen, the Avengers (team books or solo) are just not his expertise.
Spider-Man and X-Men on the other hand, he can write very well.

I've heard he's good at street level, but everything starts to break down once he gets into the higher brackets and can't really deal with the diversity of power levels. Any truth to that?

So...are the Ultimate and 616 universes combined into one now or something? I mean you have Miles crying over a chance he will have to kill Captain America, but if the universes have combined, what happened to Ultimate Cap?

Ultimate Cap died a pretty unspectacular death in Cataclysm (that event where 616-Galactus was stranded in the Ultimate Verse).

Then he was brought back during Secret Wars in one of the Battleworld-Parts and died again when said part got destroyed at the end of the mini.

So...the 616 and Ultimate universes have combined then? And I'm assuming all of the Ultimate counterparts to the 616 crew all died off?

I must honestly admit that I'm not the best person to be asked these questions, since I haven't been consistently keeping track of comics since about 2 years or so, but yeah, the two Earths have merged and many/most inhabitants of the Ultimate Verse are dead.
Certain people have been displaced to Earth 616 however, examples other than Miles on top of my head are Ultimate Reed Richards (who is a villain) and James Hudson Jr. (Ultimate Wolverine's son), but I think there are quite more.

Can't say I enjoyed his X-run. The way I see it, he's a guy who could do some neat stuff back in the day (Ultimate Spider-Man was hands down one of the most consistently good comics ever), but now he's kind of a parody of himself.

All the universes dissappeared during the Battleworld thing. Then things got rebuild but the Ultimate-verse was no more. However, Miles gave Moleculeman a burger and got exist in the main Marvel universe along with his supporting cast as thanks.

Now stuff from Ultimate is appearing around when a writer feels like it or so.

I still think the Avengers died the day he took over.

There was some interesting stuff thereafter, but it wasn't the Avengers.

But yeah, Ultimate Spidey, Daredevil and Alias were excellent.

And, what happened to Iron Mans Sym suit? Is the one he has now better, or was it destroyed and he can't make another?
