Clark looks like an anime character in that flashback.
Greg Pak wasn't kidding when he said Kuder tried a different style for some pages. Man that looks amazing.
So torn! Do I read the preview pages, or wait and be surprised??
Oh, the difficult choices life will throw at you!
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."
~ Black Panther.
It almost gets tiring to point out how awesome this book is constantly.
Hmmm...........Clark Kent has a beard, and coincidentally so does Superman, and nobody notices
You think so? I never get tired of it. Its nice to have really good Superman comics again. We went a long time without them, and more than three years later Im still giddy about it.
Seriously. No one else on earth rocks the beard and dark hair combo. Why the world doesnt realize that some random, no-name reporter they've likely never heard of is actually the most powerful person (whose also barely been seen since growing the beard) on earth is beyond me.
Can we not have the secret identity discussion again?

Well, I said almost, so no, not really. This book rocks my socks.
If only clark didn't showed up at the same time that superman, but it's not like clark have that much friends to catch that.
these caption boxes kills the moment, less is more in this case. and I only read a preview

-So Hiro for Jimmy's old role as Superman's pal? Hmm if true it's pretty interesting given who Hiro is.
-The art is absolutely mind blowing. Kuder needs an award for this book. One of the most visually engaging books out there. No question.
-The part with little Clark is just spectacular. Nice job with the hair.
-Only thing that would have made the little Clark part better would be if he had his blanket on to protect him.
In Pak we trust.
Calvin and Hobbes Clark, heh.
This looks like it could be decent.
That definitely would have made for an awesome visual, although it makes all the sense in the world that hell would freeze over before Jonathan and Martha would allow him to take that to school. It looks innocent enough to the casual observer, but its still essentially an alien artifact.-Only thing that would have made the little Clark part better would be if he had his blanket on to protect him.
Love the flashback scenes. Also love that Clark is still sporting the beard. Really bummed that he didn't keep it thought. Would've been nice for him to keep it for just a little while longer. Heck, they gave him a mullet at one point. Why not a beard?

I feel like this is Aaron's best issue yet. And the coloring... unreal. Wil Quintana is a genius. This arc has been great so far. I'm loving the Supes/Steel/Lana team-up (although I could do with a little less of Lana's "it's your fault Superman" attitude).
This looks amazing but man that beard needs to go.
