The show is the abodultr worst spiderman adaptation in existence. The characters are annoying and unlikable, had the gull to follow parts of the ultimate storyline like the brain switch, carnage, etc. I feel even sorry for the characters debuting in their first animated forms besides SHS. It was sad to see agent venom and cloak and dagger appear in this pile of @$#%. I hope it @&%#ing dies already so it won't ever reach the light of day again! And to think they cancelled TSSM for this!

Cool story bro, but I think you'd be better off ignoring USM if you dislike it enough to rant and curse about it without intelligent thought/analysis.

It's actually pretty enjoyable for what it aims to be. I haven't watched every episode or even most of them but I'm not upset at the Spidey as Bugs Bunny cartoon adaption.

There will certainly be other more mature animated adaptations of Spider-Man. The ubiquitous fan rage is kind of ridiculous

I guess I'm one of the weird people who actually likes this show. I've only seen it a handful of times but the times I have seen it I've really enjoyed it. The episodes I saw were actually pretty hilarious and a lot of fun. I'm thinking of the episode where Wolverine shows up and he and Spidey have to team up. That one was really funny and I found myself sitting there and watching it even though my original thought was to change the channel.

It is meant for a very much younger crowd. They got a show that goes through Disney, I'm sure that's an achievement to a business considering what Disney will do to make money. I'd much prefer Marvel do this than make another comic about the Kool aid man.

Marvel will eventually make a more mature series likely when Ultimate runs its course.

I think I just find the show a bit annoying frankly. It seems like Family Guy for kids, rather then Spider-Man, instead of telling a straight forward story, it seems like they constantly have interupt the show for another cut away gag. Batman Brave and The Bold was goofy, but it told a straight forward narrative, I just find the cutaway gags rather grating. To me, that makes watching this show rather a chore, especially since a much better Spider-Man cartoon was prematurely cancelled before this one aired. If Spectacular Spider-Man was allowed to air for more seasons, then I think people would have fewer problems with it.

Well, the show's Spider-Verse storyline tackles a few mature themes, at least by this show's standards, so watch out for that.

I think this show picked up tremendously during the second season and season 3 has been pretty fun.

Spectacular Spider-Man was cancelled three years before Ultimate Spider-Man debuted so no that's not what happened.

It's a fun enough show that has a few big issues, such as episodic continuity. It has a few episodes where the sinister six gather as a group but it never explains how only an episode or two earlier most of the members had been arrested and locked up by SHIELD. But that's mainly a personal issue I have, most of the time the shows pretty funny or has something interesting happening.

Accurate. It's meant for kids, but I still find it entertaining. I think the trick is to not take it seriously, because the show doesn't at all. But that being said...

There are more mature moments that happen, not quite as intensely as I hoped for, but they're there. The episode featuring Miles was pretty strong, in my opinion. I don't think Donald Glover sounds like a 13 year old at all, but I still really liked his voice work and the partial character inspiration coming full circle.

I don't watch it religiously like I did Spectacular, but the episodes I do watch are pretty good. I don't get where all the hate comes from. Yeah it's geared more toward comedy, but that doesn't make it bad.

And honestly, the idea to use Harry Osborn as Venom was a nice departure from the usual.
