I feel like they dropped the ball with putting more "big name" characters in from the get-go. Liv could have easily been Zatanna and the angel "Manny" could have been Zauriel. Go in all guns blazing I say. With the way series' are dropping like flies I would put my best foot forward and not save things for later seasons that might not even happen.
