Default Abomination runs the Marvel Brick Gauntlet

Abomination runs the gauntlet of Marvel's bricks in a purely hand to hand combat slugfest. All speed is equalised. No other powers allowed other than strength, durability and healing.

Fights take place in the arena. No prep-time. No ring-outs/space tosses. They fight until one of them goes down. Abomination heals between each fight.

    The Villain Gauntlet

    Mr Hyde
    Blob
    Sebastian Shaw
    Ulik
    Bi-Beast
    Titania
    Wendigo
    Count Nefaria
    Apocalypse
    Juggernaut

    The Hero Gauntlet

    Thing
    Colossus
    Sasquatch
    Captain Britain
    She-Hulk
    Skaar
    Wonderman
    Namor
    Hercules
    Thor (no Mjolnir)

How does Hulk's strongest foe fare in these gauntlets?

I'm quite curious to see how Shaw will fare in this thread.

As for Captain Britain, he's a bit odd, and I'm never quite clear about his powerlevels. They seem to fluctuate, sometimes being a 2-tonner, sometimes being Spider-Man level, and sometimes being able to hang with the other names on this list. Does anyone have any strength feats to judge with? (aside from the humorous but embarrassing first encounter with Juggernaut)

The deal with Abomination is he is stronger than base line Savage Hulk, and he never gets stronger.

    Just his basic schntik.

He's done things like carry a giant Sentinel into orbit (those things would have to pretty heavy), traded punches with Thor, Wonderman and Colossus, caught a jumbo 747 in mid air and landed it etc etc. He's a pretty solid class 80-90 these days. And his powers are confidence based, so if he's riding a confidence wave he's possibly even stronger.

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Loses against Apocalypse and Juggernaut on strength and invulnerability.

Loses against Hercules and Thor on fighting skill.

Anyways, I figure he probably stops at Apocalypse and Hercules respectively.

He was on my original list, but I realised there's not much question as to whether Emil could beat him, plus I limited myself to 10 characters and Mr Hyde took his spot.

    Mr Hyde
    Win

    Blob
Lose, even a really pissed of Hulk has failed to hurt him.

    Sebastian Shaw
    Unsure.

    Ulik
Unsure too, but given that he endures beatings from Thor from time to time, I'd lean towards Ulik.

    Bi-Beast
    I'd say Abo takes this.

    Titania
Abo probably takes this, as Titania is a She-Hulk villain.

    Wendigo
He ranges from getting threatened by Sabretooth up to giving the Hulk a fight, so eh.
But I think Abo takes this.

    Count Nefaria
    Stomp for the Count.

    Apocalypse
Oh look, a battle where Apocalypse can actually win.

    Juggernaut
    Murder-stomp for Juggernaut.

Sure he can. Hyde isn't really all that stupid, he's just violent and crazy. Rhino is actively an idiot - it's a part of his character and who he is.

Though it should be mentioned that he isn't that dumb under some writers.

He mostly is, though, and it is directly why he loses to Peter in 90% of his showings.

I'ma run in a straight line again and this time I will totally turn Peter into mush.

    Totally.

    *plan fails*

    Say whaaaaaaa?
