Default Netflix Superhero Shows Won't Arrive In 2015, Bar Daredevil - And More

    http://screenrant.com/daredevil-tv-s...-frank-miller/

Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight on Easter Eggs, Punisher, ninja-like costume, Stilt-Man and more.

Offers up some fairly interesting tidbits of information, and though I'm not a fan of the Punisher, I would feel he'd fit in the world of Daredevil, and could see how they'd work, interact, or what they'd think of each other.

Unexpected that he'd want Stilt-Man of all people, as Mister Fear, or especially Gladiator would make more sense, I think, and one an interesting innovative challenge, to stand aprt from Scarecrow, the other a big physical one for Daredevil.

Sad that Jessica, Luke and Danny won't be kickin' around next year, but if DD's the only one that's been filming, then I suppose that makes sense, but hopefully it won't be one show a year, as I'd worry about the progress, in relation to MCU, if so.

Punisher in Daredevil would be interesting just to see how they interact. I like the idea of them using Stilt-Man personally, I think he'll work in the Daredevil series.

I think I'll have to try and watch this show on the internet somewhere though as I don't have Netflix so unless a different channel in the UK picks it up I'll have to try the internet lol.

Ah, if Channel 4 picked up Agents of SHIELD, continuing on to its' current Season, I believe, then hopefully they'd or another channel would do the same with Daredevil.

Sky 1 went for Arrow and The Flash, Channel 5 for Gotham, so maybe one of them'd do a deal, get all four shows, plus maybe The Defenders to boot. Stranger things've happened.

But, though we'd have Netflix, I wouldn't use it, and just watch House of Cards on DVD, Hemlock Grove on another website, so probably do the latter for DD.

Yeah I bought Season 1 of House of Cards without ever watching an episode before hand (not the first time I've done it as well ). Hopefully another channel will pick it up like you say.

I figured as much. It'll be 2016-17-18-19 more than likely. Oh well. At least they're taking their time and not rushing. LOL.

Only thing I'd worry about there would be in keeping it in line with the larger MCU, like with the Civil War, or Infinity War and so on.

Wouldn't want it to go too behind the films, though it might not have to worry about that, who knows? Though AOS often links in, be it with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, or, to a degree, Thor: The Dark World.

I wonder how many episodes each show will have

It sucks we'll have to wait until 2016 for some of these other shows to materialize, but at the very least, Daredevil can show that this format can work. Marvel is already doing so well with Agents of SHIELD on network TV. It hasn't yet shown it can do the same using Netflix. All it takes is one successful show in Daredevil to get the ball rolling. If nothing else, the movie set the bar very low so I think it definitely has that going for it.

13, for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist each, and 10, I believe, for The Defenders.

It would be great if the Punisher was the "Big Bad" only for the conflicting views of Justice, while Kingpin plots in background for Hells Kitchen. And the Hand, always got have the Hand fodder to fight.

Working for Kingpin, like for Jackal in his first appearance, or as a free agent, whose actions Fisk perhaps manipulates for himself, against New York, or Daredevil?

Is Kingpin actually in these? Because it turns out the character was on loan from Sony.
