I reached out to Lorec on this, too. He used to plot several books, and he & I co-plotted a lot of Multiverse titles a few years back. He'll be a huge get if he comes back on.

There’s been some more interest expressed to me in direct messages. I’ll keep this plotter roll call open for a bit to make sure we capture everyone who’s interested (how long is fair for that? Another week? I want to give everyone an opportunity to get in on this!).

After that, we can do a character draft for which I’ll announce the rules shortly (they’ll be basically the same as the AoM character draft if you remember that from a few months ago - I think that went pretty well, right?).

Chiming in a little late, at least on Thread, but I just want to echo the words of manybhere and say THANKS to Shaggy for all the work, time, effort and creativity he put in to New Dawn over the years. Well done my friend.

And also big props to another MVP of our favorite fantasy plotting worlds, Exciter, for stepping up yet again to take the reins and New Dawn in whatever shape or form going forward will be in good hands and greatly served I am certain.

It looks like a solid group to relaunch (some welcome returns for sure) and I am looking forward to seeing what you all build here.
As for myself, I have some months of AOM to try to catch up on before I dare commit to anything new....but should you need an extra solicit in the future, I wouldn’t mind joining in after the draft and the foundation is put in place.

I figure this would be of interest of everybody in this thread. You see, I'm rather experienced with Wikis, and have a tendency to go on editing binges when I find one I'm interested in, especially when there's sparse content there already.

All this to say, I've put a lot of work in on the Wiki that Exciter set up for this and Age of Marvel. Like, a lot of work.

I've taken the first steps towards comprehensively archiving all the series of New Dawn. The first step was bulk copy-and-pasting the first page of the solicitation threads onto Wiki pages. This accomplishes, at the very least, the raw preservation of these materials on a different location.

In order to speed up the process, I was very broad in what I copypasted. A lot of username and other forum information has made its way onto these pages as bycatch. The next step would be clearing out that junk text. Then the extremely tedious process of sorting all the solicitation into individual pages for each series can begin in earnest.

In all honesty, I'm liking to burnout on the project well before I can accomplish that endgame myself. But, as is the nature of a Wiki, everybody is able to contribute if so inclined!
