I'm sorry I'm too red for you, ch.
You'll get used to the art guys and gals.
If you'll focus on what the story is, it is already amazing.
North starts the issue with a Squirrel Girl song and then we see a guest villain. and then we see how Squirrel Girl takes down the robber.
I love the story already.
ya know...I'm surprised Ryan North has not done another interview since this was announced since squirrel girl going to college isn't much of a concept that you can expect readers to buy...we need to know just a little bit more before we can start supporting this
Oh I understand that much, but I do wish these NBT things weren't limited to A-List launches or books that are attached to films. It's the lower tier books that need the promotion more than any other. Mind you Ant-Man is pretty low tier, so I'm cool with that, but I would hope that at least Gamora can get one.
also Squirrel Girl has gotten enough hatred just for the artwork...we don't need another topic just for it to spiral out of control
Squirrel Girl is awesome!
It's not the art so much as the way Squirrel Girl is being drawn. She's been drawn as cute for years, now she looks like she sits around eating lard all day long. SHE looks horrible, the rest of the art is fine.
Throw in some Frog-Man, Brute Force and Spider-Ham guest appearances, and I MAY give this book a go.

Squirrel Girl had crazy eyes in her first appearance. A little meat on her bones and she eats lard? I can't imagine where people get complexes from.
Right. The art is fine i just hate how sg looks. Her face is awful. Dc has teeny titans in cartoony art but batman still looks like batman! This is awful. The rest is fine. If i'm buying a Squirrel Girl book i want her to at least look like Squirrel Girl!Exactly! Doreen's supposed to be ... well ... a cutie. That ain't Squirrel Girl.
