Charlie Huston is the showrunner? Knew he wrote, didn't know he produced.

Techincally... yes, but that's the second Retro Girl. The first one is older.

According to EW.com, the character has a "cool, hard exterior with a fire right below the surface. Retro Girl is the undisputed super star of the Powers community. An icon of justice, selflessness, and business acumen. Her willingness to put herself at risk for the good of others is matched only by her ability to manage her globe-spanning personal brand."
...you sure that's Retro Girl they are describing? I've been getting a bad feeling about this adaption recently and this isn't helping.

So that's what Huston's been up to? Nice. And nice to see Michelle Forbes doing something else too.

Since when does the playstation network (where I was pretty sure this was airing) count as "television"

Ah, can say the same about the Netflix shows, but they're still discussed here, and sure Amazon Prime, Yahoo and Hulu ones will be too.

Shows moreso than TV, per say.

Though, one could talk about it in Games, though it isn't one, so a comic forum or television one's the closest, I'd say.

Oh, yes. But, what else would you call it? A web show, an internet show?

I remember reading that Carly Foulkes was cast as Retro Girl. I've not read Powers, so is Forbes an older version of same character or is it a legacy type thing?

Eh, hard to explain without giving away massive spoilers to the series. It's not really legacy thing... sort of.

Shows you watch on a television are usually referred to as "television" shows.

Thanks guys, we are not doing a carbon copy of the show, but all the elements are there- let it build and I think you'll love it!
