Punisher #1 Jul 1987
Marching Powder
Vietnam vet Frank Castle's wife and children were caught in the crossfire of warring crime families. Now, he's back and they're all going to pay. All of them.
Those that visit harm on others will come to know him as the Punisher. Frank starts up his first ongoing series with guns blazing.
His first target, a drug dealer who thinks he's above the law.
Well, he's not above Punishment.

The Devil came from Kansas!
Frank crosses the path of a racist organization known as the Army of the New American Revolution.
They are led by an ex-Army Colonel whose hate for those different from himself rivals Castle's hate for criminals.
After a big gunfight Frank is out of ammunition and the Colonel has the drop on him. Frank has the bad guy right where he wants him.

And now . . . a cute story about Frank Castle:
No, I'm not crazy. You see, I work at my city's animal shelter. One day, a male cat arrived, and his face was covered with scabs and scratches. Even though he looked like he been through a lot, he was really friendly and loving. It was about the time Frank Castle first appeared on Netflix, and the cat's face reminded me of Frank Castle's, so I suggested to name the cat Frank Castle, and it was approved.
Well . . . his name was shorted to Frankie because there wasn't enough space on his kennel card.
This is Frank Castle with his face healed:

Like I wrote, he was super sweet and loved getting attention. I told people who knew about the Punisher this Frank Castle is the 'Purr-isher.'
One of the things I enjoyed about Frank Castle is that every time I called his name, he meowed and came.
I showed him to a family who wanted a therapy cat for their autistic children. I have seen cats who panic if you sneeze, but no matter how much noise the kids made, Frank Castle strutted around, not bothered.
I guess that's one thing cat Frank Castle and the Punisher have in common: they were cool under pressure.
The family loved Frank Castle and how loving and cool he was so he adopted to be their therapy cat.
Hopefully, he's still living with them.
Thank you for your time and patience.

The Rev
Has the Punisher found God? Frank is shot in the back by a lunatic and lies on his death bed.
Luckily a Reverend with a seemingly divine healing touch arrives to save his life.
But, there is more to the Rev than meets the eye.

Punisher 2099 is so edgy... But in a comical way.

Ministry of Death
Continued from last issue. Frank has found the tape that shows the Rev murdering a man in cold blood.
Can Castle deal out his brand of punishment to a man of God?
The Punisher's war on crime does not discriminate.
