I'd love to see the Netflix series eventually adapt Chuck Dixon's opening arc to War Zone from the 90s. I was in middle and high school when the Punisher's popularity exploded, and those issues are some of the best.

I'd also like them to tackle Circle of Blood, which could be easily set up with Frank back in prison in the series.

Well, the good news is, I think you can. The plot is basically, Nick Fury shows up, gifts Frank the War Machine armor, and then he uses it against the usual type of bad guys, but across the globe instead of just in one place. Wouldn't be surprised if he's acting on SHIELD intelligence considering Nick's involvement.

I've been waiting for cloonan to exit punisher. (if you make a MAX punisher book call it that and make an in-continuity punisher for the MU.) since this looks like he's back in the MCU & turning to more fire power for his mission then it sounds good to me! #218 sounds odd but hey it makes sense with the "history" .

i'll be picking this up.

I agree.. Cloonan's run definitely felt more like a MAX run. If it's billed as a 616 book, there has to be something tying him to the 616. Which is what I prefer.
