It is a pretty penny, but you could check out InStockTrades.com to see if they have it cheaper. It was a great run. The Christmas special alone if one of my all time favorite reads.

I only read the X-Mas Special, and it was awesome. I'll consider that one because what I know of the story actually sounds really good and I'm a big fan of Steve Dillon.

What are you guys opinions on the Punisher and Strange team up so far?

I'm kinda underwhelmed, Brevoort hyped it up so much that I was expecting more

Frank is such a badass in this book and I really like how they've given him more of a dry sense of humor. Gerads' art, especially his panel-to-panel flow for action scenes is really excellent. The mask in particular is just soooooo badass and instant classic Punisher.
My thoughts exactly. Cant wait to see Black Widow in the pages of Punisher as well.

So, anyone got the latest issue? I did not expect the arc to end like that. Now I'm wondering if the next couple of issues will follow up from this or if it's going to be a flashback sort of thing.

Domino's role intigues me, but we've seen so very little of her that I don't know what to make of it. With her return to X-Force, I don't know how much more she'd be allowed to keep showing up here, which is a shame. She was really inspired choice for the Punisher to face.

And Frank taking out Electro with rubber bullets? That was great.

It was damn good that's for sure. This run continues to kick ass. The art alone would make it a must-read.

And off I go to pre-order Thunderbolts 29. Punisher vs. Ghost Rider works for me.

Just rereading Greg Rucka's run, all I can say is wow.

What do you guys think that finally Marvel confirmed that Punisher is an Afghanistan veteran instead of a Vietnam vet?

*Sigh* I guess Born never happened or the fantastic Fury series.

New series is great but the best Punisher will always be the Max series by Garth Ennis

Well that is set in MAX universe and for now in MAX Frank is still a Vietnam vet. The change occured in MU 616, maybe Marvel has plans for him for the big screen or tv series. It can be better explained than the old vet with 70 years.
i'm not too happy with this "retcon", there are things that it shouldn't be touched and since vietnam is the "core" of the character, Marvel should have take the chance of the Bloodstone that restored Frank to his mid 30's, in my opinion.
