Not sure what to make of this. Not been the biggest fan of his writing and what little Punisher he's written has basically been the run in and spray bullets, constant bellowing rage type of guy so not convinced he has got a good handle on the character. He has written some stuff I have liked though so who knows?

Oh no. I hope that Punisher isn't mind-controlled or somehow drugged (again) and starts going after litterbugs and the like. I really hope that's not what's happening here.

That the people writing it really don't understand Frank's character. Or they do, and are deliberately ignoring it because "it doesn't fit our story," which is just lazy.

But then again Nick Spencer has made a habit of this recently, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this one either.

.....Unless it can be summed up in one word......Brainwashed....!!

.......After all, Frank has had a few instantives where he was either drugged or mind-controlled into attacking some of his enemies; so it wouldn't be shocking to know that HydraCap (or one of his 'Secret Council' members) managed to bring Castle under their control.

Not the Punisher I know but these days it's worthless, if Marvel wants any character do what they want even if it does not make sense.
