Default Landry Walker is Ready to Rage on "Red Lanterns"

The writer hints at what's to come in his "Red Lanterns" opening arc, exploring whether Guy Gardner can still be considered a superhero.

Soule Man is going to be missed, but I'm willing to give this guy a chance. I haven't heard of Danger Club. Does anyone recommend it?

Walker has a really tough act to follow. Soule's been amazing.

Calafiore has done several issues of Red Lanterns recently. He's interesting to me in the sense that his style is actually not something I usually prefer (at least the style he's been doing on Red Lanterns), but it's really fitting for that particular title. He serves the stories well.

Nothing said in this interview here intrigues me, other than "No Simon Baz," and that he's keeping Guy Gardner a Red Lantern, but I pretty much expected that.

If Jim Calafiore's art is anything like the cover image then I'm certainly going to buy the comic.

Not really... but I'd say it's better.

I loved Milligan and Soule, so if vitamin is right (most likely) I'll be pretty impressed with this title's consistency.

I'll give him an issue (maybe two), but I've been looking for opportunities to trim my pull list, and this seems like a good one.

The only obvious reason to continue for me is Calafiore, whom I've liked since his Aquaman days in the 90's.

Sounds good enough, and looks good enough, to keep buying until it sucks.

    Meh.
Red Lanterns becoming a Guy solo book is an insta-drop for me.

Red, Green, Mighty-Morphin' Vuldarian Weapon Machine…If Gardner's in it, I'm on board.

I'm going to have to agree with this. I've loved Red Lanterns and especially Soule's run. Having Guy was a plus, but for me the appeal was the whole outcast-"biker gang in space" theme and their interactions with one another, and if it is merely about just Guy without other Reds then I'm going to have to drop it too. I know that the end of the Atrocitus War basically reduced the Reds to nothing but still. I'll probably try the first issue though, but if it looks like Bleez or Rankorr or new Reds don't show up, I think I'll be joining Soule in leaving the book.
