UNRELATED to the most recent issue of CM ---BUT......

Can anyone fire off an explanation as to why Carol isn't wearing a helmet to breathe underwater during issue 9 of Earth's Mightiest Avengers, when they take on Sexy Namor?
She can talk and breath underwater just fine? Was that always a thing?

She can breathe unaided in water and space on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, plus every other Sunday.

(aka, the editorial inconsistency on her need for oxygen or lack thereof is staggering.)

I think that was her first on-page adventure underwater unless someone has counter-proof.

As far as I know, the entire reason the pink Kree exist is because of the blue Kree's genetic failings, which led to them interbreeding with other species to keep the population up.

My recollection is just that the Kree couldn't evolve and that's all that this was about.

Yes he was but he is also a mutant. Captain Marvel is not a mutant yet, though she maybe in the next 20 years...Eventually everyone becomes a mutant.
