I was afraid of that. I commented about her slow, steady lean toward a more masculine look before. I think people are trying too hard to portray Carol as tough and believable as a leader. The high & tight haircut was bound to lead to more masculation.

It's a single artist doing a bad job. It really isn't a big deal.

I loved this issue. It was just fun. I loved mixing the technobabble with Cuts Like a Knife to give it a more quirky feel. I loved Puck getting to be the hero to save the day. I loved Alpha Flight in general. I really like Wendy. I feel like she's the kind of character that would have fit well in KSD's run and helps keep a decent continuity of tone.

I would have loved a little more explanation of what Mar-Vell did with the Satori. I actually expected this story to have some flashbacks to that time (or other methods of viewing the past) to help explore Mar-Vell's life as well. However, they left room to explore that with the refugees. It also seems like the Eridani can be players in the future. The only question is whether Butters and Fazekas will be back after Civil War II to explore these threads left open. But this was a good first arc.

it's good but kinda fits for Madame Hydra. Carol is suppose to sound more flawed and a bit energetic.

i love Jennifer Hale but she's not the definitive Carol . like CDB she can be number 2. Colleen Clinkenbeard would be the definitive Carol Danvers if FUNimation did Marvel .
